About Carbon & Copper Group

 

Carbon & Copper Group was born from a genuine passion for firearms, hunting and responsible firearm ownership.

 

Founded by Anthea Werrett, Carbon & Copper Group is more than a business it is the result of a family's love for the outdoors and the belief that every firearm deserves the very best care. Together with her husband Colby, a passionate firearm enthusiast, and their three daughters who all enjoy hunting, firearms have always been a part of their family's lifestyle. Looking after those firearms properly has always been just as important as using them.

 

Like many firearm owners, Colby was constantly searching for firearm cleaning products that truly delivered exceptional results. After extensive research, he discovered RifleCX, a premium firearm cleaning and maintenance range manufactured in Poland. They purchased the products for their own family's firearms and quickly realised they had found something exceptional. The performance, quality and ease of use exceeded every expectation, and it soon became the only firearm care products they wanted to use.

Knowing that other firearm owners in South Africa deserved access to the same premium products, Anthea established RifleCX South Africa and became the exclusive distributor for the brand throughout South Africa.

 

As relationships with customers grew, so did the vision.

While RifleCX provides one of the world's leading firearm cleaning and maintenance systems, Anthea recognised that South African hunters, sport shooters, collectors, security professionals and firearm owners required additional products that were not part of the RifleCX range. Working alongside Colby and trusted South African manufacturers, they invested time in research, product development and testing to introduce complementary products that met the same uncompromising standards of quality and performance.

From this vision, Carbon & Copper Group was created.

 

The name reflects the two most common forms of fouling that every firearm owner must deal with.

Carbon represents the carbon residue that is produced every time a firearm is discharged. If not removed correctly, carbon fouling can affect reliability, accuracy and the long-term performance of a firearm.

 

Copper represents the copper fouling left behind by jacketed bullets as they travel through the barrel. Over time, copper deposits can reduce accuracy and affect the precision and lifespan of the barrel if they are not properly removed.

 

Together, Carbon and Copper symbolise complete firearm care.
